ぜ【是】

(what is) right; righteousness; justice.

●是が非でも (whether) right or wrong; 〔是非とも〕 by all means; by fair means or foul; 〔いやおうなしに〕 willy-nilly; whether one likes it or not.

●是とする consider [think] 《sth》 right; approve of 《a plan》; justify 《an act》.

●是を是とし非を非とする call a spade a spade; say it how it is.
